Privacy Policy

SeedreamAI.org (seedreamai.org) is an independent image generator built on the Seedream models: you describe a picture, optionally add reference images, and the model draws it. Below is everything the site handles about you, what it is used for, who else receives it and how long it stays. "We", "us" and "our" refer to the people who operate seedreamai.org.

The short version

• Your prompt and any reference images serve one purpose: making the picture you asked for. We don't sell them, post them anywhere or train AI models on them.
• Reference images stay in our storage only while the service needs them, and we erase yours on request.
• So that free images are shared fairly, we store a salted, scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address plus a device identifier. Your actual IP address is not kept.

• Nobody signs up here. Your email address is only requested if you choose to join the waitlist for something that isn't available yet.

Information you send us

Prompts and settings. The text you type to describe or change an image, together with the aspect ratio and resolution you choose.

Reference images. Pictures you add to guide or edit the result. Your browser shrinks and compresses them before they leave your device.

Waitlist sign-ups. A few tools or settings on the site are still being built. Choosing one opens a short form offering to let you know when it is ready. If you submit it, we keep your email address, the page and option you chose, your answer to "What will you make with it?", and a salted one-way hash of your IP address so we can filter out bots. That notice is the only email we send: the address isn't verified, added to a mailing list or passed on.

Emails. When you write to us, we keep the thread so we can answer.

Information the site collects on its own

• Free-image count. A salted hash of your IP address, an identifier your browser derives from its own settings, and the number of free images you have made. The browser identifier is also stored in your browser's local storage.
• Generation log. The page and model used, the time, whether the run succeeded, and links to any reference images and to the result.
• Server logs. As with every website, our host handles your IP address, browser type and the addresses you request, both to serve pages and to fend off attacks.

• Traffic statistics. Plausible Analytics counts visits for us without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you. We only see aggregates such as page views, countries and referrers.

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies for visitors. Local storage in your browser holds the device identifier described above and whether you prefer the light or dark theme. Clearing this site's data deletes both.

Services that process data for us

A handful of outside providers help run the site, and each one gets only what its task requires:

• Cloudflare — hosts the site and stores uploaded images; like any web host it sees your IP address when you connect.
• AI image model providers (the Seedream models run through our AI gateway) — receive your prompt and any reference images, run the model that creates your image, and keep the result for a limited time so it can be downloaded.

• Plausible Analytics — measures page visits without cookies and without identifying anyone.

Beyond that, we hand over information only when the law obliges us to, or when it is necessary to prevent fraud or keep people safe. Personal information is never sold or shared for advertising.

Retention

• Reference images: stored only for as long as the service needs them; email us and we remove yours.
• Generated images: held by the AI provider that produced them for a limited period so you can download them, then deleted. Download anything you want to keep.
• Free-image records: kept while free images are offered; none of them contains a raw IP address.

• Waitlist entries: until the notice for that feature has gone out, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever happens first.

Your rights

Email us to find out what we hold about you, get a copy, have it corrected or have it erased, uploaded images included. You will hear back within 30 days. Where you live (the EU, the UK or California, for example) may give you additional rights, such as lodging a complaint with your data protection authority.

Children

SeedreamAI.org is for people aged 18 and over. Don't upload images of anyone younger than 18; if we find that we hold one, we delete it.

The same age limit applies to the waitlist: entries we learn were made by a child are deleted.

Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Every upload is checked to be a genuine image before it is saved, under a long random address that isn't published or listed. Whoever has that address can open the file, so share result links with care.

International processing

Our host and AI providers operate servers in more than one country, which means your data may be handled outside your own.

Updates to this policy

Whenever this policy is revised, the date at the top changes. If a revision changes how your images are used, we will announce it on the site before it applies.
